AI chat 
With AI chat you can ask questions about your analytics in plain English. Click on AI in the menu of your dashboard to start. See our AI page for examples.
What you can ask
- Insights about your traffic, for example “Summarize my traffic from last month” or “Were there any spikes in traffic sources or referrals last month?”
- Comparisons between periods, for example “Compare my visitors this week to last week”.
- Charts, for example “Give a doughnut chart with device types”. You get one chart per answer. Ask a follow-up question for another chart.
- Questions about how to use Simple Analytics.
If you don’t mention a period, we use the last 30 complete days and compare them with the 30 days before.
Compare websites
AI chat uses the website you have open in your dashboard. You can also ask about your other websites, for example “Compare website Y traffic with website X traffic”.
Your data
Before you ask your first question, we ask whether you agree that Simple Analytics sends your analytics data to OpenAI to answer your questions. OpenAI doesn’t use this data to train its models (read OpenAI’s enterprise privacy page). We save your questions anonymously.
